Join Us for the Second Annual Putts for Pearl Golf Tournament on May 11th, 2026

After a very successful inaugural run, the Putts for Pearl Charity Golf Tournament is back for its sophomore installment on May 11th, 2026! This event will again take place at the beautiful Idaho Falls Country Club. Whether you are a skilled golfer or just looking to have a great time, this is the tournament for you!

Event Details

Check in opens at 9:00 am with a shotgun start at 10:00 am. This tournament will be a scramble format. For those unfamiliar with a scramble, it is a team-based tournament. Each team consists of four players. All players tee off on each hole, then the team selects the best shot. From there, all four players hit from that spot, and the process continues until the ball is holed.  For more event details, please visit our tournament site.

The Cause

Proceeds from the event will support the Pearl Cares Foundation. The Pearl Cares Foundation's mission is to promote access to mental healthcare in the community. You can read more about what we do by going to our About page.

Additionally, some of the funds raised this year will go to support suicide prevention in the community. According to the CDC Idaho has the fourth highest suicide rate in the nation. We hope that with the support we raise this year we can make some strides towards solving this issue.

You may remember that last year we did something similar for a mental health initiative for veterans and first responders. You can check out our recap to see how that positively affected the community.

Post-Tournament Activities

After the round is over everyone will be invited to join us in the clubhouse for a meal prepared by the fantastic culinary team at Idaho Falls Country Club. It’s the perfect time to share stories, celebrate the day’s achievements, and enjoy good company. As with last year, prizes will be awarded for the top three teams, as well as longest drive and closest to the pin.

New This Year

This year we are introducing a new way to compete. Some may know this as peer-to-peer fundraising. We call it the Donation Tournament. In this optional competition, each team gets to fundraise as a group and get friends and family to donate to their campaign. The teams will compete for a spot on the leaderboard based on how much money they are able to raise. If you are not as confident in your golf skills, this is a great opportunity to still see your name at the top of a leaderboard!
